Ingredients for Gajar Halwa in Cooker

गाजर – Carrots – 600 grams
मलाई – Malai – 1 cup
चीनी – Sugar – ½ cup
काजू – Cashew – 2-3 teaspoon
बादाम – Almonds – 2-3 teaspoon
छोटी इलायची – Green Cardamom – 4, coarsely grounded

How to make Gajar Halwa in Cooker
Peel 600 grams carrots and wash them well and dry them. Then if the carrots are long, cut them into two or three parts. Now grate the carrots with a coarse grater, grate all the carrots in a bowl. Remember, the yellow part in the middle has to be removed because it is not sweet and the taste of the halwa can get spoiled.

Put grated carrot and 1 cup fresh malai of homemade milk in the cooker. Now burn the flame and mix the malai and carrot well. Then close the cooker and cook on high flame till one whistle comes. After a whistle, cook it for 2 more minutes on low flame.

After the time is up, let the cooker cool down, then open it. A little milk must be separated from the malai, turn the flame on and cook on medium-high flame while stirring continuously till the milk gets mixed with carrots. When the milk is almost finished, then add 1 cup of sugar and cook till the sugar dissolves in halwa. and enjoy Gajar Halwa in Cooker No mawa-milk-ghee by Chef Nisha Madhulika.
